We wish you all a Merry Christmas. Enjoy and do not forget that summer 2014 is very close and we are waiting for you in San Antonio, Ibiza.
And yes, it is here, Christmas! It seems it was just a few days ago when we were lying in the sun, enjoying those wonderful beaches in Ibiza, the amazing parties and all that characteristic atmosphere of the summertime on the island. Christmastime in Ibiza is a time for gathering with the family, with friends that we haven’t seen in a long time, for making new year’s resolutions, and above all, it’s a time for having fun, eating, drinking, dancing… with our loved ones.
As in many other places in Europe, in Ibiza also, these holidays are celebrated amid all kinds of Christmas decorations, both in homes and on the streets of the towns and villages, with delicious Christmas sweets (such as “turrón” – a type of nougat -, marzipan, “polvorones” – a type of shortbread – , etc.), great feasts and of course, the lovely Christmas carols, always reminding us we are in Christmastime.
But unlike elsewhere, Ibiza keeps pretty enjoyable temperatures during this time and many days of glorious sunshine. Allowing you to engage in many attractive outings and activities. For example, meeting up with friends to eat a delicious Ibicenco paella at a beachside restaurant while looking out to the sea.
We here at the Orosol family hotel, also celebrate Christmas together, just like every year. And just remind you that we’re already working and planning the new 2014 summer season in San Antonio. We like to keep well ahead of the game so that your stay with us next summer will be even better.
