Sant Antoni de Portmany is one of the most popular resorts for tourists who spend their holidays in Ibiza. The town is noted for its beautiful bay, magnificent sunsets, rural landscapes and the small beaches and clear water coves that are dotted along the coast.
Much of the bay runs along the Seaside Promenade, the most visited and colourful area of Sant Antoni, which begins its journey on Calo des Moro beach and runs through the Ses Variades, where you can see a beautiful sunset, the harbour and the yacht club, as well as the beaches of S´Arenal and es Pouet. Stroll through the street terraces of the most popular and cosmopolitan bars and clubs: Buddha bar, Coastline Café, Mambo, Savannah Beach Club, Café del Mar, Rey de Copas, Ibiza Rocks Bar, Tulp Café and the new beach club, Ocean Beach Ibiza. You will also find a wide selection of restaurants: El Yate, Ibizan cuisine; Bar Tiburón, tasty snacks; Villa Mercedes, market cuisine; Savaradero, Mediterranean cuisine; Rita’s cantina, Dutch specialties and Stephan’s restaurant, with French influences.
On your tour you can visit the Museo del Mar, a craft market and a meeting place for painters and cartoonists, which is open every afternoon and evening in the summer. At end of the tour, you can visit the cultural centre of sa Punta des Molí. As well as the Seaside Promenade, the area hosts a large number of hotels and shops.
The sea is always present in Sant Antoni de Portmany. The bay is home to the marina, the fishing pier and the ferry terminal that links to the port of Dénia. Due to its location, characteristics and weather conditions, Sant Antoni is the perfect place for any water activity or sport. Diving centres, sailing schools and boat rental companies can be found around the harbour and along the promenade.
You can also come and discover the hidden corners and most amazing places on the coast of San Antonio and its beaches or spend a wonderful day in Formentera. The Seaside Promenade is the starting point for ferries that daily depart to the beaches of Ibiza, Cala Salada, Port des Torrent, Platges de Comte and Cala Bassa.
