Tourists visiting Ibiza have the opportunity to discover a beautiful landscape. Unique nature dominated by a coastline of beautiful beaches with clear waters and rugged cliffs, and a majestic rural landscape permeated by the green of its forests full of wildlife.
Ibiza also flatters the traveller with beautiful enclaves and charming picturesque spots. Authentic rural populations, located inland, characterised by unique architecture with white walls, whitewashed churches, chapels and ethnographic constructions (water wells, mills, lime kilns). There are also some archaeological sites that reflect the historical past and a field of red and fertile land, arranged in terraces and bounded by stone walls.
On the coast, you will find a stunning natural environment of small coves and dock houses, steep cliffs where you can admire the sunset, and defence towers guarding the coast. We recommend you calmly explore these magical places, which are rarely visited, and feel the spirit of rural Ibiza flowing through you.
A tiny rustic nucleus located at a crossroads between the towns of Sant Rafael, Sant Mateo, Santa Agnès and Sant Antoni. An area surrounded by fields and vineyards, where the atmosphere is still quiet. In Buscastell there is a beautiful agricultural landscape, Es Broll. A place full of gardens, terraces, pools and ditches to channel water from a natural source. Likewise, the meeting point is Can Tixedó, a spacious cultural and gastronomic area open throughout the year.
A quiet town located at the foot of a huge cliff with stunning views of the sea and Formentera, just 15 minutes from San Josep. Es Cubells consists of two unique buildings, a convent and a simple church. Moreover, there is an Ibizan restaurant and a cosy bar with a terrace. From the back of the church, via a small path, you reach a nice beach, Ses Boques.
Sant Francesc de s´Estany
This tiny depopulated enclave in the heart of Ses Salines nature reserve on the edge of the road, towards the magnificent beaches of Ses Salines and Es Cavallet. The place is dominated by a simple eighteenth century church and, in front of this, a pleasant bar with terrace serving simple and tasty cuisine.
