Sunset is one of the most fascinating and magical moments that can be experienced in Ibiza. Moments in which the sky begins to change colour, turns from blue to orange as the sun, bright red, gradually merges with the sea and rises while a gentle breeze caresses the sand. A spectacular light and colour show.
The island of Ibiza offers unique locations where you can see an amazing sunset. On sandy beaches and in clear waters, animated by all kinds of people who want to admire a beautiful sunset from the shore, on the edge of a cliff, or relaxing in comfortable hammock or from the terrace of a quiet beach bar, while the last reflected sunlight at sea slowly disappears.
Platges de Comte
Popularly known as Cala Conta, this is a beach paradise shaped by several white sand beaches and turquoise waters, located west of the island. In the evening the sun sets behind the islets of S’Illa des Bosc, Ses Bledes and S’Espartar. The Sunset Ashram restaurant is a great place to watch the sunset.
A small cove-shaped bay of golden sand facing the northerly sun and a peculiar rock, Cap Bernat. A beach located between mountains and pine forests. Interrupted only in summer during Sunday afternoons for a few eloquent and spontaneous drum sounds that accompany the sunset.
A corner of fishermen on the west coast, charming and lines with huts. A small beach with clear water, a rocky bottom and fine gravel. Definitely a nice place to watch the sunset from the cliffs that surround Porroig.
This white sandy beach, crystal clear water, gentle slope and fishermen’s huts on the edge of the shore. It is, without doubt, one of the most amazing sites on the coast of Sant Josep, given by the spectacle of the islet of Es Vedra overhanging the sea. By the evening, the best view you can have from the sun is on the cliffs near Cala d’Hort.
